Founded in 2005 by Craig Todd and David Velie to help manufacturing companies in Greater Cincinnati and the Midwest reach their corporate goals, Amend Consulting delivers transformation and impact to the bottom line. In 2008, Amend’s success was recognized by the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce who awarded them with the Emerging Business of Year.

Craig Todd
A proud native of Cincinnati, Craig Todd is a graduate of St. Xavier High School and the University of Cincinnati where he received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management. He earned his MBA from Xavier University. He has established a reputation within the manufacturing industry for helping companies achieve double-digit sales growth and implement dramatic cost cutting measures.
Craig has more than 22 years of manufacturing successes, including establishing manufacturing start-up operations, strategic planning, engineering, logistics and general management. His passion for helping companies and their leadership transform into high-performing, profitable organizations drove his decision to partner with David Velie to start a consulting firm.
Craig has been a member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) since 1989. He holds certifications in leadership management/coaching, including training under Shingitutsu, Certified Day 1 Kaizen Trainer, and Dimensions of Professional Training (DPT).
David Velie
Since co-founding Amend Consulting, David Velie has helped manufacturing companies throughout Greater Cincinnati grow and reach their corporate goals by providing proven industry-specific tools and processes. His no-nonsense, personal training approach has enabled him to earn the respect and trust of his clients who look to him for guidance when it comes to transforming their organization.
Prior to Amend Consulting, LLC, David spent more than 18 years working in the manufacturing industry, building a history of success as a change agent in operations, lean processes and engineering management. He and Craig Todd joined forces to create a consulting firm that delivered this knowledge and experience in an innovative hands-on way – through action-based training and transformation.
David received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, in 1993. An eagle scout, he is an active member of the Greater Cincinnati business and manufacturing community, helping facilitate the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce’s Manufacturing Roundtable and serving as an adjunct professor at Gateway Community and Technical College for lean and related manufacturing courses. He is also a member of the American Society of Quality and the University of Kentucky Lean Manufacturing Network.
